Silent Footsteps - A Woman's Awakening Among The Elephants of Africa

In the early 1990s, Sally Henderson was invited to help establish an elephant research study near Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. She fell in love with the magnificent creatures and was rewarded with their acceptance of her – they once even saved her life when she was threatened by lions.

Sally returned to Zimbabwe in 2006 to seek out the elephant herd she once knew so well, to report on their fate and that of the country she loves, but which has been torn apart by civil war.
